Why We’re Here
En Gedi Blessing is about gifts…gifts of rest, renewal, celebration, creativity, intercession, gratefulness, and renewed relationships.
Friends of En Gedi have been blessed with beautiful vacation homes, and their desire is to use these spaces to bless a unique group–ministry leaders and their executive teams.
Loneliness, challenges and exhaustion often accompany a position of leadership. As such it is our desire that you will take some time to receive from the Lord, to build into key personal relationships, and to be renewed in your creativity. A leader who is refreshed and renewed by the Lord naturally overflows in refreshment and encouragement for others.
En Gedi families have offered their personal vacation homes in order to provide beautiful, intimate settings where you will be able experience a blessing from the Lord and his people.
En Gedi blessing is intended to be a blessing that flows in all directions. As you spend time in these beautiful spaces, surrounded by the care of the special families who own these homes, our desire is for you to bless them with your priestly intercession–for them, their families, and their places of service, asking for more kingdom fruitfulness in every area of their lives.
As priests and kings in the Kingdom of Jesus, we have unique opportunities to bless each other out of an overflow of our gifts and callings. Our prayer is that En Gedi Blessing will provide a service that brings supernatural blessing to ministry and business leaders that will result in kingdom fruitfulness in every direction!
Why Share Your Blessing
My family has used our vacation homes to bless missionaries and ministry leaders who might not have resources to stay in such a beautiful space. In making our homes available, we have experienced the joy of sharing our gifts, the blessing of gratitude and the gift of interactions with these amazing people. I have personally been impacted in life-changing ways by our ministry leader friends, as have many members of my family.
We want you to have the chance to experience the same joy and impact that we, as a family, have received in giving time in our homes.
If you have a vacation home that you would like to offer for use to a ministry leader, En Gedi Blessing would like to provide concierge services and a personal network of relationships to make this gift of time in your home as easy as possible.

The Team
Laurie Doden
Laurie Doden founded En Gedi and serves as its Executive Director. Her passion is to serve and encourage, and God has used her experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors to apply those gifts around the world. Laurie has worked as a manager with Master Sports and as Executive Director of her family’s foundation, MasterWorks Foundation before founding En Gedi. She served on the board of Leadership Development International (LDi) in China and also ministers at her local church. She currently lives in South Africa.

Vicki Spurling
Vicki Spurling has an amazing gift of hospitality as well as a desire to serve others, especially those in ministry. She has several years’ experience working as a meeting and event planning manager for both profit and non-profit sectors. Vicki is the coordinator for all logistical details regarding your stay in one of the beautiful En Gedi Blessing Homes.
